About Doc

Mike (Doc) Monteith and Alberta Stillwater Adventures has been instructing fly anglers since 2002. Mike first held a fly rod at the age of 3 along the banks of the Miramichi River in New Brunswick and started fishing the local trout lakes when he moved to Edmonton at 10 years of age. 48 years later, Doc is still tossing flies in search of big trout and helping others do the same.
